The Voucher Generator will allow you to create vouchers that you can sell or give away to guests. This will allow you to offer different types of access with limits on time allowed and/or speeds. To generate voucher codes, first create a Guest Plan.
There are two different types of vouchers available in the platform.
Guest Plan Vouchers
- Guest Plan Vouchers are associated with a guest plan and is worth one connection to the assigned Guest Plan.
- Guest Plan Vouchers can be used for any hotspot that is offering the Guest Plan it is associated to.
- To create Guest Plan Vouchers you’ll first need to go to the Edit Guest Plan page
- Click the ‘Generate Vouchers’ button.
You can create blocks (or groups) of voucher codes that can be used by your guests. This allows you to set different expiration dates for different groups of vouchers.
Name the block of voucher codes. This can be anything you’d like to make it easy for you to remember who you have or will be passing these voucher codes to.
No. of Vouchers. Enter a number between 1 and 999.
Expiration Date will allow you to choose if/when the voucher expire. Leave blank if they will never expire.
You can create multiple voucher blocks with different expiration dates and quantity.
Export. This button will allow you to download a CSV file of the voucher codes.
Delete. You can delete a voucher block if you don’t need them anymore.
You can expand each block to see a list of the voucher codes and whether they have been redeemed etc.
Value-Based Voucher
- Value-Based Vouchers can be used as a payment method to connect to any Guest Plan offered on any hotspot in your dashboard. The value can be less or more than the total cost of the Guest Plan. The voucher will be usable until there is no monetary value left to the Voucher or the expiration passes.
- To create a Value-Based Voucher, go to the Hotspot>Voucher page.
- Click “Generate Vouchers”
Name the block of voucher codes. This can be anything you’d like to make it easy for you to remember who you have or will be passing these voucher codes to.
No. of Vouchers. Enter a number between 1 and 999.
Value Monetary value you want to assign to this voucher.
Expiration Date will allow you to choose if/when the voucher expire. Leave blank if they will never expire.

Hotspot Setup
You will need to enable Guest Plans as a login type in the Edit Hotspot page as well as assign the appropriate guest plan to the Hotspot.
Finally, you will also need to place the Sign in with Vouchers button onto your New Guest and Return Guest splash page.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- If you delete a plan, you also will delete ALL voucher codes that were generated and associated with that guest plan. Also, this guest plan will no longer be associated with a Hotspot.
- If you change the values of the guest plan, and a guest already has been associated with that plan, then there will be no affect on the expiration date.
- If a guest has an active guest plan and they receive the splash page, they can access the remainder of their active plan by hitting the connect button.
