The Campaign Rules are a powerful and completely automated way to communicate to your guests. Smart Campaigns are sent based on when the guest connected, so these are different from scheduled marketing campaigns. Trigger campaigns are used to communicate to your guests based on a set of criteria, all tied to when they have connected or how many times they’ve connected to your Hotspot(s).
You can assign a Start and End date for your campaign that will be used to determine when campaigns should start and stop sending to Guests.
Trigger Campaign Rule Definitions:
- Default: The campaign will be sent once to every guest.
- Has Had Another Session: The campaign will be sent at the defined time after a guest makes their second connection.
This will use the next connection after the campaign is created. - Has Not Had Another Session: The campaign will be sent if the defined time has elapsed and the guest has not made another connection.
This will use the next connection after the campaign is created.
- After X Guest Visits: The campaign will be sent after a guest makes X number of connections. Number of connections for this rule is based on the lifetime of the hotspot.
- After X Guest Visits – From now: The campaign will be sent after a guest makes X number of connections from the moment the campaign is created.
- Before Birthday: The campaign will be sent at the defined time before the guests birthday.
- Every Event: Campaigns will be sent to return guests after the configured scheduled time has elapsed for the other Campaign Rules. This means Proximity Leave, Proximity Seen and Guest Connection.
