If you choose to use an LTE enabled Mikrotik, such as the RBwAPR-2nD, please follow the configuration steps below.
- Unscrew the back from the Mikroitk.
- Insert a SIM Card in the correct orientation.
- Power the device on and connect a network cable.
- In WinBox, factory reset the device then run the script from the dashboard.
- Go to Interfaces > LTE > click on ‘LTE APNs’ > open ‘Default’.
- For ‘APN’ type in your mobile carrier if APN(examples in table below)
- Change the default route distance to 1.
- In the left hand column click on QuickSet, confirm APN in the top right has been updated to your mobile carrier’s APN.

7. Reboot the device.
9. Disconnect network cable from the Mikrotik and let the device fail over to LTE. This might take up to 10 minutes to occur.
