Guest Profile

The guest profile page will display whenever you click on any guest information throughout the Smart WiFi dashboard (as long as you have permissions). The guest profile area displays information about the guests that use your Smart WiFi system. You can view detailed information regarding their different interactions with the Smart WiFi Platform. These guest profile tools will help you maintain compliance with consumer privacy laws such as GDPR, CCPA, CPPA etc.

There are six functions available on the Guest Profile.

  1. Unsubscribe will be toggled to the Guests reported preference. You can toggle this manually to comply with a Guests requests.
  2. Flagging a Guest will make that guest be treated like a New Guest the next time they try to connect through a splash page.
    This means the Guest will see the New Guest splash page and be given an opportunity to connect using a different social login option.
  3. Blocking a Guest will mean that Guest will no longer be able to access WiFi through the SmartWiFiPlatform.
  4. Export will export all of the personal information collected about the Guest.
  5. Clear will delete all personal information associated to the Guest.
  6. Send Profile Management Link will send a link to the Guest contact information that can be used to access their own Guest Profile Management page.

Possible available information in the Guest Profile includes:

  • Email: If the information was collected upon login.
  • Gender: If the information was collected upon login.
  • Birthdate: If the information was collected upon login.
  • Age: If the information was collected upon login.
  • Address: If the information was collected upon login.
  • City: If the information was collected upon login.
  • Country: If the information was collected upon login.
  • Region: If the information was collected upon login.
  • Postal: If the information was collected upon login.
  • Mobile Number: If the information was collected upon login.
  • MAC Address: MAC of the device connected to WiFi will be reported here.
  • Device type: Operating System of connected device will be reported here.
  • Login Method: Social login method used to connect to guest WiFi.
  • First login: Date of the first login through the SmartWiFiPlatform.
  • Login Count: Total logins to your hotspots.
  • Total  Download/Upload: Total up and down bandwidth used.
  • Total  Time Used: Total time spent on Guest WiFi.

Available Tabs in the Guest Profile:

  1. Activity Log: A compiled log of the Guests Session Log, Presence Log, and Campaign Log.
  2. Session Log: A log of the individual connections a guest has made.
  3. Presence Log: A log of all the proximity events received by the Smart WiFi Platform.
  4. Campaign Log: A log of all Campaigns a guest has received from the Smart WiFi Platform.
  5. Custom Data: Displays the custom data fields collected when using the form builder on splash pages.
  6. Payment History: Displays the Guest Plans purchased by this Guest.
  7. Guest Plans: Displays the Active Guest Plans and Expired Guest Plans associated to this guest.
